So on Thursday afternoon, I was debating going surfing or catching up on other stuff. When I realized that low tide would make that afternoon stuck, I decided to stay home. Around 3:30 ish, I got a phone call from my mom who sounded VERY excited. She told me that I needed to get to our local Best Buy asap and to make sure that I eat something first. The reason: The Goo Goo Dolls (one of my favorite bands) were playing a free concert in the parking lot!

So, I got over to Best Buy (after putting on a cute dress) and found out more of the details. The GGDs were signing autographs on their new Greatest Hits CD after playing a set of 10 songs. My parents just happned to be at the Best Buy looking for a new TV when they heard the GGDs doing their sound check. Not believing what they were seeing, they went back in the store and bought 2 CDs (one for me and one for my mom) so that we could get 2 wrist bands for later that night.

My mom and I stayed for the whole evening, got to stand in the front row of the concert (of which I got AMAZING photos) AND got 2 autographed CDs!

This is an informal invitation to anyone and everyone of my friends in the I.E. area to join me in a mini celebration of my completion of undergraduate study.

University of Redlands' Commencement begins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday May 26th. Following graduation, there will be a small reception at my apartment at 25937 Redlands Blvd., apt. H, Redlands, CA, 92373, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
